Brothers of Valor is a small group strategy for young men that is based on Scott Grissom's book, Brothers of Valor: An Invitation to Manhood. The BOV is built on four essential truths.
1. Manhood doesn't really happen apart from brotherhood.
2. Brotherhood is demonstrated in valor...the moral courage to take action on behalf of another.
3. Following Christ is a team sport. The BOV helps young men build their team
4. Brotherhood can and should be preemptive.
Scott's book will be available Spring 2009.
FiSH is a student-led small group strategy created by Scott Grissom and Mark Roberts. FiSH is most often implemented in public schools as a student-initiated, student led club. FiSH provides a holistic and systematic approach to small group ministry. Through FiSH, we FOCUS on biblical truth, INSPIRE intimacy with God, SHARE and celebrate God’s supremacy in our lives, and HOOK our friends with the hope that comes from knowing Christ.
FiSH has been accessed by students, parents and/or youth workers on behalf of 17,000 public schools in the U.S.
